Welcome

If you are new to our site, this blog is sort of a hodge podge of our ministry and family life, and whatever else God lays on my heart to share. The Home Page above will link you to our Sufficient Grace Ministries page. You can read more about the 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and the outreaches of this ministry whose mission is to offer comfort and hope to grieving parents. The Blog button brings you to the page you are currently reading, featuring a variety of subjects...some ministry updates, some family news, and some biblically-based encouragement. The Walking With You page is a place for bereaved parents who have lost a baby or child to find encouragement and hope. It is an online support group created so that families would know they are not walking this path alone. On the Dreams of You Shop page, you can learn more about the products and services we offer, place an order, or sponsor a family. The Encouraging Women blog is a work in progress. There, we hope to offer biblically-based encouragement to all women. The Resource page has been newly updated with a list of resources that are helpful for grieving parents. Our blogroll is also located on this page. Thank you so much for visiting our site. Blessings to you...

Please Pray...

Please pray for baby Cora and family...

I don't have the words to express what is on my heart after reading about what this precious family is enduring as they watch their baby girl fight stage 4 cancer. Focusing on the promise that we serve the God of the impossible...and that He's the same God who gives and the One who takes away...the same One who sometimes calms the storm and sometimes quiets the child...the same One who makes beauty from ashes...the One who comforts us in any trouble so that we may comfort others with the comfort He gives...He's the same.

Oh, Lord Jesus...show yourself mightily on behalf of Cora and her family. Carry them...

Wow. Praying indeed. Saw her beautiful little face on their blog. Speechless... but praying!

Kelly, thank you for posting this. I jumped over there & just can't believe such a story. Who would ever think a thriving child would all of a sudden be fighting for their life! Oh...my heart is so overwhelmed & running to the Lord. I can't imagine what people do who don't have the assurance that God is in control. I'll be praying for her & her sweet parents. I'm so glad the Doctors ran the x-ray! I'm sure many would have just thought she had a virus & prescribed meds...praise the Lord for that Doctor. ~heidi
